2 million euros from the Flemish government in Belgium to earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria

The local government in the Flemish part of Belgium transferred 2 million euros to the Red Cross to meet the urgent needs of earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria.


Prime Minister of the Flemish region, Jan Jambon, reminded that they sent 200 thousand euros for the earthquake victims within the scope of emergency aid immediately after the earthquake and announced that they transferred 2 million euros to the Belgian Red Cross.


Jambon stated that this money will also be used for emergency aid in earthquake-hit Turkey and Syria.
