Auto registrations at lowest since 1995 in Belgium
Last year, 366,303 new passenger cars were registered in Belgium, down 4.39% from 2021, according to statistics published by FPS Mobility and Transport and automotive federation Febiac.
Supply problems have caused registrations to plunge in 2022. Order books are well supplied and 2023 could therefore prove to be a better year.
Supply crisis is not totally over. Car sellers are hoping for the crisis to come to an end completely.
On the other hand, over the past months numbers seem to be increasing. But China and recent developments with regard to covid-19 will play an important role for the supply side.
