Belgian Prime Minister, who fell off his bike, was taken to hospital

According to the statement made by the Belgian Prime Minister's Office, Prime Minister Alexander De Croo, who was cycling near his house in a village located about 60 kilometers from the capital Brussels, on Saturday afternoon, fell off his bike after an accident.


De Croo, 47, who struck his head on the ground and briefly lost consciousness, was taken to the nearby Ghent Hospital.


In the tests conducted here, it was determined that the Prime Minister's condition was good. Slightly injured, De Croo was discharged from the hospital a few hours later.


It has been announced that Prime Minister De Croo will rest on Sunday and that the accident will not affect his schedule for next week.
