Death toll in flood in Italy rises to 14

The death toll from the floods in the Emilia-Romagna region in northern Italy rose to 14. Firefighters continue their rescue efforts.


Italian media announced that 36 thousand people were displaced due to the floods.


Italian fire brigade Vigili del Fuoco reported that 3,998 different incidents have been responded to since the activities began. The highway was closed to traffic as a result of a landslide in the city of Ravenna, east of Bologna. In addition, it was reported that the fire brigade continues its intervention efforts with 1121 personnel.
