French people of Azerbaijani origin demonstrate in front of the Senate in Paris

French people of Azerbaijani origin organized a peaceful demonstration in front of the French Senate to protest against the position of the senators.

The demonstrators expressed their dissatisfaction with the approach of the French senators in the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict.

Participants of the protest chanted slogans such as: “We demand justice! », « We say no to terrorism! », « The Senate must be impartial! », « France must be neutral to establish peace in the South Caucasus! » etc.

On the other hand, "without resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict or at least without specifying how it will be settled, it is impossible to conclude a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan", the Secretary of the Armenia’s Security Council Armen Grigoryan told CivilNet.

Conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan is a difficult international problem to solve killing many civilians and conscripts. When the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, ethnic Armenian separatists in Nagorno-Karabakh broke away from Azerbaijan. The ensuing conflict killed about 30,000 people so far.
