NATO says missile that killed two likely fired by Ukraine defending against Russian attack

A missile killed two people in NATO ally Poland yesterday.

The leaders of Poland and NATO said that the missile that killed two people in Polish territory on Tuesday was likely fired by Ukrainian forces defending their country against a barrage of Russian strikes, and that the incident appeared to be an accident.

On the other hand, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reiterated on Wednesday that the missile that killed two people the day before in a Polish village near the border with Ukraine was Russian.
