No trains will run in the provinces of Namur and Luxembourg
Disruptions are expected across Belgium due to strikes.
The strike by the railway workers' union common front will seriously disrupt train traffic from 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4 and all day Wednesday until the same time. The rail network will be closed in the provinces of Namur and Luxembourg while only a quarter of the trains will run in the rest of the country. Due to the strike, the SNCB has developed an alternative train service in the provinces where it was possible, depending on the members of staff who have communicated their intention to work.
