Open Commission competition for administrators in the field of energy
The European Commission has opened a competition for administrators (AD 6) in the fields of energy, climate, and environment.

Within the field of energy, successful candidates will have the chance to contribute to the development of EU policy and legislation to ensure a continuous supply of affordable, secure and clean energy to EU citizens and businesses, paving the way for the EU’s energy independence and climate neutrality.
Candidates participating in the competition in the field of energy must comply with the following requirements
be an EU citizen
have a thorough knowledge of one official EU language and a satisfactory knowledge of another official EU language. One of the languages must be English.
hold a university degree of at least 4 years, followed by at least 3 years of relevant professional experience, or a university degree of at least 3 years, followed by at least 4 years of relevant professional experience, in one or more of the following fields: chemical sciences, economics and finance, engineering, law, life and earth sciences, mathematics, physics, social sciences or humanities
Successful candidates will perform diverse duties leading to the facilitation of decision making and policy making in the field of energy. More details on these duties can be found in the Notice of Competition.
