Shifting Economy Week in Brussels
The Brussels-Capital Region is organizing a week dedicated to economic transition for the second consecutive year. Shifting Economy Week is a high point during which economic players meet to discuss the gradual transformation of their activities in order to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
Shifting Economy Week will take place from 18 to 24 November 2022 throughout the Brussels Capital Region.

The subject matters to be covered by the event are:
Relocation of economic activity
Maintaining and creating quality jobs
Reduction of inequalities
The social, environmental and employment challenges that Brussels faces
The economic actors of the Region have an essential role to play in meeting these challenges, by innovating, by forging links between the inhabitants, by creating environmental, economic and social value, and employment.
The Shifting Economy is an inclusive strategy. It invites all economic actors in the broad sense to take up the challenges of transition. Also, companies (VSEs, SMEs, large companies), the self-employed, public actors, front-line economic actors (trainers, business support organizations, business federations), as well as regional public administrations, municipalities and associations are invited to contribute to the Shifting Economy Week.
