Three injured in knife attack at Brussels metro station near European Commission
One person was injured in a knife attack at a metro station in Brussels, the capital of Belgium.
A knife attack was carried out at the metro station in Schuman Square, where the European Union (EU) institutions are located.
Witnesses, who shared on social media about the attack in which one person was injured, stated that the attacker threatened others, and then he was caught by the metro police.
Brussels Mayor Philippe Close announced on Twitter that the attacker with the knife was caught in a short time.
The public transport company (STİB) also reported that the station was temporarily closed, services were stopped on metro lines 1 and 5, and buses were directed to the said routes.
